My name is Dylan Bell and I am 11 years old.  I was born on September 28 which is only 2 days before you.  My mom, dad and I like to watch Dance Moms together.  You are an awesome dancer and you have a great work ethic.  I am an elite youth baseball player, switch hitting catcher, so I know how hard you have to work to be the best.  Sometimes you have to give up going out with your friends to practice but I love playing baseball and I know that you love dancing.  You can follow me at Catchersrock.tumblr.com.  I will post some pictures of me playing baseball soon.

I think I met my goal I really liked my model and facts.

Yes it was helpful because I got a lot of feedback that was very helpful.

My model was good because I worked hard on it.

My tamale reflection is good. I had a lot of fun making my tamales and only talking in spanish. I learned that you can put raisins, peppers and olives.

I would not have ducked down like in the story.  Instead, I would have kept sitting because my mother is not embarrassing to me and I am proud of her.  The daughter in the story was embarrassed because rummaging through a dumpster is not a socially accepted norm in our society.

The mother in the story does not want to accept help from her daughter or family because she does not want to burden them with her problems.  The mother is also used to being homeless so she knows how to take care of herself in this situation.

The mother is not interested in accepting help from her daughter because she thinks that her daughter is caught up in too many social norms.  The mother believes that her daughter is too interested in what people can buy or how much money they have so the mother does not want to become part of the regular society.  The mother would like her daughter to think more about people who are in need.

The tres ingredients for tamales are: chille, pollo and cascaras de maiz. That is tres ingredientes for tamales.

What I learned about tamales are they are usually made around Christmas time.
